Determining the length to order: Measure on top of your arm from the neck to the longest finger. That measurement is the proper length to order. Children under 6 may want to add 2” to the size so they don’t grow out of the baton to soon. Beginning twirling should not order batons that are over 28”. See chart on the bottom of this page if your buying a baton for a gift and can’t get a measurement

Determining the diameter: The diameter is the thickness of the baton shaft. The 3/8” is the standard and best for beginners. The 7/16” is thicker and should only be used if you twirled with a 3/8” diameter baton and prefer a thicker feel..

Light FX Twirl Baton---Chrome plated steel shaft with tough transparent end light. 7-colors of lights flash in random light patterns (see photo). This nighttime twirling baton is great for parades, football games or any events with little lighting. Its uses batteries (included) that you can turn off and on for about 20-30 hours of use. Then just replace the batteries. These common button cell LR44 or AG-13 Batteries can be purchased from us or your local store such as Wal-Mart or Radio Shack. The baton can handle normal drops on hard surfaces but big drop on hard surfaces is not recommended. Big drops may result in the clear light housings having to be replaced. No tools required. The baton is balanced and weighs about the same as your regular baton (example: a 28” baton weights 8.9oz. the Light FX Baton 28” weighs 9.9 oz.).   Available in sizes 22”, 24”,26”,28”, and 30 inches. With a 3/8” or 7/16” (thicker) shaft diameter.
